1. First, there's an accessibility option for windows called Mouse Keys that allows you to bind moving the mouse to the number pad. Using that, you can move your mouse in one direction at a time. If you align your character up with your farm, you can plant stuff accurately extremely fast! Here's a link on how to turn it on. I've found that maxing out the speed and acceleration options works best for me (and enabling it when Num Lock is off).
   
2. You can put seeds in your shortcut bar
   
3. You can also shift+click items (seeds) from the shop to specify how many you want
   
4. Your farmer's workstation has a daily quest in it that gives you 5 gold
   
5. If you want thunderstruck, plant pines (it's what the koreans do)
